Cougars set to host three collegiate meets at Yeoman Fieldhouse
HOUSTON – The Houston Cougars Track & Field program is thrilled to announce its 2019-20 Indoor competition schedule.

Houston will open the season on Dec. 7 when the team travels to College Station for the Texas A&M Reveille Invitational inside the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium. This marks the 12th consecutive season that Houston will open its season in College Station.

The Cougars will return to action after the New Year when they host the first of three meets inside Yeoman Fieldhouse, beginning with the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational on Jan. 17. The annual Carl Lewis High School Invitational will take place immediately following the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational from Jan. 17-18.

Houston will travel to Lubbock, Texas to compete in the Texas Tech Corky Classic taking place on Jan. 18 as Yeoman Fieldhouse serves at the site for the Joe DeLoach Youth Invitational on Jan. 19.

The Cougars will return to Lubbock when the squad competes on Jan. 24 at the Texas Tech Red Raider Invitational, before concluding the month of January at home with the Houston G5 & Mid-Major Invitational from Jan. 31-Feb. 1.

Houston will make its second trip of the season to College Station when the team competes in the Charlie Thomas Invitational from Feb. 7-8. The Cougars will conclude the regular-season on Feb. 14 when some members of the team compete at the Howie Ryan Invitational at Yeoman Fieldhouse, while others head to Clemson for the Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational from Feb. 14-15.

The Cougars will look to have continued postseason success at The American Indoor Championships on Feb. 28-29 in Birmingham, Ala.

The 2020 NCAA Indoor Championships  will take place three weeks later in Albuquerque, N.M. from March 13-14.
