Houston Tabbed in ColleSportsMadness.com Preseason Rankings

HOUSTON – Coming off its 2018 NCAA Tournament appearance, the University of Houston Softball team appeared as one of the top 44 teams in the nation in the 2019 preseason rankings from CollegeSportsMadness.com

The Cougars came in at No. 35, which would translate to having received votes in both the USA/NFCA Coaches and ESPN.com/USA Softball poll, based on last season's final rankings. The full season preview of the Cougars from CollegeSportsMadness.com can be found here.

Houston returns all five of its All-Conference players from a year ago, including senior pitcher Savannah Heebner, who earned All-American honors in 2018. The Cougars open up their 2019 campaign on Feb. 8, when they face Kentucky inside the Cougar Softball Stadium.

SEASON TICKETS
Fans will have the opportunity to purchase their season tickets for Houston Softball in early January, when they first go on sale. Season tickets for the 2019 season will be just $80.
