Don Sanders Field dedication will take place in special ceremony prior to first pitch
HOUSTON -- Houston Baseball's Fan Appreciation Day & Baseball Alumni Reunion has been set for Saturday, Feb. 9, at Don Sanders Field at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park.
Watch as our alumni take batting practice on the field before the 2019 Cougars split into two teams for a seven-inning scrimmage. Gates open at 10 a.m. with first pitch slated for a 1 p.m. start. Prior to first pitch, Houston will have a special ceremony dedicating the field in honor of Don Sanders at 12:30 p.m.
Fan Appreciation Day is free to the public, but fans are encouraged to register for the opportunity to win prizes each inning, including but not limited to autographed memorabilia, tickets to home games and more.
Winners must be present when their name is called to claim their prize.
