Houston Soccer Announces Game Day Festivities

Sept. 9 match to benefit the Lupus Foundation of America-Texas Gulf Coast
HOUSTON –The Houston Soccer team is proud to announce its partnership with the Lupus Foundation of America – Texas Gulf Coast.
In order to bring awareness to Lupus, during Sundays match against McNeese State the Cougars will hold a silent auction featuring various donated items. All proceeds will benefit the Lupus Foundation of America – Texas Gulf Coast.
Along with the silent auction, Olympic Medalist and World Cup champion Shannon Boxx will be making a special guest appearance and will be available for an autograph session.
Boxx is a former member of the United States Women's National Team and has been named to four World Cup rosters. The three-time Olympic Gold Medalist (United States in 2004, 2008, 2012) is the only player to make a World Cup team without previously earning a cap. Boxx has been named to the short-list for the FIFA Women's World Player of the Year award three times and won an NCAA Championship with Notre Dame in 1995.
Group ticketing is available and can be found on-line at uhcougars.com. Each fan in attendance will receive a purple Lupus shirt.

The Houston Athletics Ticket Office is proud to offer season tickets for the 2018-19 athletic season. For just $25, Cougar fans can purchase one season ticket, which allows season-long general admission entrance to all Houston Soccer matches. To purchase a season ticket, click HERE. Fans that purchase a season ticket will enter the game on a VIP List at the entrance to each sport facility. Please bring a Photo ID.
