Stevenson Added to Biletnikoff Award Watch List

Sophomore receiver leads The American in receiving after four weeks of action.
HOUSTON – The American Athletic Conference's leading receiver after four weeks of action, Houston's Marquez Stevenson has been added to the Biletnikoff Award's Watch List, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced Tuesday.

Through the first four weeks of the season, Stevenson leads The American with 391 receiving yards and five touchdown receptions coming off 22 total receptions.
Showing his explosiveness, the Shreveport, La., native leads the nation with three receptions of at least 50+ yards in addition to two rushing attempts of 50+ yards. All three receptions of 50+ yards have resulted in Houston touchdowns.
With six total touchdowns, Stevenson ranks 10th nationally after four weeks while ranking 16th nationally with an average of 141 all-purpose yards per game.
Presented annually to the outstanding FBS receiver, the 2018 Biletnikoff Award winner will be presented live on ESPN on Dec. 6 on The Home Depot College Football Awards presented by Gildan. College and pro football hall of famer Fred Biletnikoff will announce the 2018 Biletnikoff Award winner on the show.
