New Silver Glove Series Trophy Unveiled

Silver Glove Trophy presented to Houston-Rice series winner
HOUSTON -- The University of Houston Baseball program was presented with the new Silver Glove Series Trophy on Monday afternoon.
The trophy is the same as the Platinum Glove Award presented to the top Gold Glove winner in the American and National League.
The Silver Glove Series began in 1998 and is played between Houston and Rice. At the end of the series in 2018, Houston Head Coach Todd Whitting presented the original trophy to former Rice Head Coach Wayne Graham in recognition of his contributions to the sport of baseball.
