FRANKLIN, TENN – Heavy rain on Sunday forced the cancellation of the Final Round of the Mason Rudolph Championship at Vanderbilt Legends Club.
The tournament was originally scheduled for 54 holes with 18 holes each day beginning Friday. With the threat of severe weather, coaches and tournament officials chose to play 36 holes Saturday, but wet weather halted play midway through the Final Round.
With more wet weather hitting the area Sunday morning, the rest of the Final Round was canceled and tournament scores reverted to the Second Round.
The Cougars finished 10th with a score of 595 on the 6,430-yard, par-72 course. Host Vanderbilt earned the team title with a score of 559 to finish 12 strokes ahead of Arizona State. Wake Forest (573), Clemson (583) and Auburn (583) rounded out the top-five leaders.
Senior All-American Leonie Harm led the Cougars and tied for 15th overall with a score of 1-under 143. Making her collegiate debut, freshman Hannah Screen tied for 37th at 148, while senior Yuka Kajiki was tied for 50th at 152.
