Seventeen Houston alums are currently on NFL rosters.
HOUSTON – Opening week of the 2018 NFL preseason is now part of the past for 17 Houston alums, here is how they performed individually.

Matthew Adams opened his rookie preseason with two total tackles and a pass breakup during the Colts' 19-17 victory over Seattle.
Kyle Allen attempted one pass against the Bills in the Panthers' 28-23 victory.
Demarcus Ayers' performance during the Bears' 30-27 loss to the Bengals included three receptions for 24 yards. He also handled all of Chicago's punt return duties on the night.
Tyus Bowser sat out Baltimore's 33-7 win over the Rams due to a groin injury.
Steven Dunbar contributed with two receptions for 23 yards during the 49ers' 24-21 victory over Dallas.
D.J. Hayden had two tackles in the Jaguars' 24-20 loss to the New Orleans Saints.
D'Juan Hines recorded three tackles during the Chargers' 24-17 loss at Arizona. He continues to battle for a final roster spot during training camp.
William Jackson III did not participate as the Bengals won their first pre-season game against Chicago 30-27.
Case Keenum's first game as a Denver Bronco ended in a 42-28 loss to his former team, the Minnesota Vikings. Keenum completed 1-of-4 attempts for five yards on the night.
Cameron Malveax got an opportunity to demonstrate his value and versatility as a player by taking defensive and special teams snaps during the Dolphins' 26-24 loss to the Buccaneers.
Joey Mbu participated in seventeen snaps, but did not record any stats during the Packers' 31-17 victory over the Titans.
Elandon Roberts aided in the Patriots' 26-17 victory over the Redskins by recording six tackles, five of which were solo tackles.
Nick Thurman had three tackles for the Houston Texans, during their 17-10 win over the Chiefs.
Playing WR, Greg Ward Jr. was targeted once, but had no receptions during the Eagles' 31-14 loss to the Steelers.
Terrell Williams participated with one assisted tackle during the 49er's 24-21 victory over the Cowboys.
The Bengals beat the Bears 30-27 as Brandon Wilson recorded two solo tackles and one assisted tackle.
In unfortunate injury news, Howard Wilson will be out for the season due to an injury to his left patella.
