Will Noble Named to Rimington Trophy Watch List

Senior named to watch list for nation’s best center for the third straight year.
HOUSTON -- Houston senior center Will Noble has been named to the Rimington Trophy Watch List for the third consecutive season, the Boomer Esiason Foundation announced Friday. The award is presented annually to the nation's top center.

Noble is the second member of the Houston program to earn a spot on a national award's preseason watch list, joining junior defensive tackle Ed Oliver who was named to both the Bednarik and Maxwell Award watch lists on Monday.

Enters his final collegiate season after starting his career as an FWAA Freshman All-American in 2015 ... has started 32 of 33 career games played including all 12 games in 2017, missing one with an injury ... leads all returning Houston players with 32 career starts ... was part of a 2017 line that did not allow a sack in five games ... named to the Rimington Trophy preseason watch list for the third straight year.
