HOUSTON - The Red Team came away with a 31-17 win Saturday at Houston Football's 2018 Red & White Game on an unusually chilly April Saturday inside TDECU Stadium.
With the No. 1 offense and defense comprising the red team, junior quarterback D'Eriq King led three first half scoring drives for a total of 17 points. However, after building a 17-0 lead at halftime, the score was flipped forcing the Red team to come back from a 17-point deficit.
The challenge was no match for the Red Team as it reeled off 30 unanswered points in the second half, led by two rushing scores from Mulbah Car. The game was played with four 12-minute quarters and a running clock.
