Harm Named The American Women's Golfer of the Week

HOUSTON -- After finishing second overall and leading her team to a second-place finish, University of Houston junior Leonie Harm was honored Wednesday afternoon as the American Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week.
In the team's most recent action, Harm closed the LSU Tiger Classic with an even-par 72 to surge into second place with a 54-hole total of 220. The Gerlingen, Germany, native recorded her season-best finish and her eighth Top-20 showing in nine tournaments this year.
This season, Harm leads the Cougars with a 72.84 scoring average and 12 rounds of par or better.
Wednesday's award was the second weekly honor of her career.
UP NEXT
Harm and the Cougars close out the regular season when they tee off at the Bruzzy Challenge, beginning Monday at Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton, Texas.
From there, the team enters the postseason beginning with the American Athletic Conference Championships on the Conservatory Course at Hammock Beach Golf & Spa Resort in Palm Coast, Fla., on April 15-17.
