Houston fans can click here and here to check out broadcast streams from the first and second sections of Pro Day. The first broadcast from the Strength and Conditioning Center allows viewers to see the participants take part in measurements, broad jump, vertical jump and bench press. The second broadcast picks up after participants and NFL scouts moved to the Indoor Practice Facility for the 40-yard dash, other running events and position-specific drills.
Linebacker Matthew Adams led the way on the bench press with 30 reps, a number that would have led all linebackers at the 2018 NFL Combine. Fellow linebacker D'Juan Hines posted the day's best vertical jump at 37.5 inches, a height that would have ranked sixth among linebackers at the NFL Combine.
Wide receiver Ellis Jefferson had the best broad jump at 10-8 while defensive back Brandon McDowell clocked the best 40-yard dash at 4.54 seconds. Kyle Postma, who worked out as a receiver Thursday after seeing action at both receiver and quarterback in his career, posted the day's top times in the three-cone drill (6.67), 20-yard shuttle (4.13) and the 60-yard shuttle (11.24). Postma's three-cone drill and 60-yard shuttle would have ranked fourth among receivers at the NFL Combine while his 20-yard shuttle would have ranked fifth.
