Houston to offer holiday giveaways on social media
HOUSTON -- Tis the season of giving, and Houston Baseball would like to encourage its social media fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, to participate in its annual 12 Days of Baseball.
The 12 Days of Baseball Contest will allow fans that follow the Cougars' Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts to have the chance to win prizes over a 12-day period spanning Dec. 13-24.
For fans to be eligible for prizes, they must "Like" or follow Houston Baseball's social media accounts. Winners will be decided by random drawing of the participants who took part in the day's respective contest and asked to submit contact information to receive their prize.
Prizes will vary from exclusive team gear, autographed baseballs, home game general admission tickets, being on the field for pregame batting practice to throwing out the first pitch at Don Sanders Field at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park.
The 12-day contest will begin each morning on Houston Baseball's Twitter with instructions for the day varying from retweeting to win or a call to action with further instructions. Fans are encouraged to become fans of all three social media realms in order to increase your chances of winning.
PARKING IN 2019
Gameday parking will be offered in a different capacity than in prior years. Anyone entering Lot 16B (across the street from right field) will be subjected to paying a third party company employed by campus. This lot will no longer be an option for free parking on gamedays. All other lots surrounding the stadium will be free of charge two hours prior to first pitch.
