SAN JOSE del CABO, Mexico – University of Houston Women's Golf freshman Hannah Screen posted a three-day total of 214 to lead the Cougars and tie for seventh at the Battle at the Beach on Sunday afternoon.

Competing on the 6,202-yard, par-71 course at Club Campestre San Jose, Screen finished Sunday's Final Round with a 75 to tie with senior All-American Leonie Harm and senior Tatiana Pineda for the Cougars' low round of the day.

It was Screen's second top-seven finish of the season after tying for seventh at the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational on Oct. 14-16 in San Antonio, Texas.

Harm joined Screen among the Top-20 leaders, finishing 18^th with a score of 218. Senior Tatiana Pineda tied for 71^st at 232, while freshman Maria Jose Martinez tied for 81^st at 236. Senior Maddy Rayner finished 85^th at 239.

As a team, the Cougars finished 10^th with a score of 900. Auburn captured the team championship with a score of 845 while TCU finished second at 862.

Texas (865), Clemson (866), Vanderbilt (869), Oklahoma (872), Mississippi State (879), Missouri (879) and Virginia (893) rounded out the top-eight leaders.

Individually, Clemson's Ana Paula Valdes and Kaleigh Telfer of Auburn shared medalist honors at 5-under 208.

Following the Battle at the Beach, the Cougars will enjoy their winter break before opening the spring season at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Championship at English Turn Country Club in New Orleans on Feb. 17-19.
