SAN JOSE del CABO, Mexico – The University of Houston Women's Golf program concludes its 2018 fall season this weekend when it competes at the Battle at the Beach at Club Campestre San Jose.
Hosted by Baylor, the three-day, 54-hole tournament begins with 18 holes Friday on the 6,202-yard, par-72 course and continues with 18 holes each day through Sunday. Teams will tee off at 10:30 a.m. (CDT) Friday and Saturday with a 9:15 a.m. (CST) shotgun start for the Final Round on Sunday.

TEAM FIELD
The Cougars will compete against Auburn, Clemson, Denver, Iowa, Mississippi State, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, TCU, Tulane, Tulsa, UAB, Vanderbilt, Virginia and host Baylor.
THE LINEUP
Under the leadership of 2018 American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year Gerrod Chadwell, the Cougars will be represented by senior All-American Leonie Harm, freshman Hannah Screen, senior Maddy Rayner, freshman Maria Jose Martinez and senior Tatiana Pineda.
FIRST-ROUND PAIRINGS
For Friday's First Round, the Cougars will compete in groups with student-athletes from Denver, Tulsa and New Mexico.
Harm will start the day for the Cougars off No. 9 with Screen (No. 10), Rayner (second group off No. 11), Martinez (first group off No. 11) and Pineda (No. 12) following.
UP NEXT
Following the Battle at the Beach, the Cougars will enjoy their winter break before opening the spring season at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Championship at English Turn Country Club in New Orleans on Feb. 17-19.
