THE LINEUP
Head Coach Gerrod Chadwell recently announced that senior All-American Leonie Harm, freshman Hannah Screen, senior Maddy Rayner, freshman Maria Jose Martinez and senior Tatiana Pineda will represent the Cougars this week.
Rayner moved into the team lead with a 72.00 scoring average after shooting an even-par 144 during the rain-shortened Maryb S. Kauth Invitational on Oct. 14-16. The Southlake, Texas, native opened that tournament with a 70 on the way to a career-best fourth-place finish.
Harm ranks second among the Cougars with a 73.50 scoring average and leads the team with two rounds of par or better, including a First-Round 69 at the Kauth Invitational on Oct. 14. The 2018 American Athletic Conference Player of the Year earned WGCA All-America Honorable Mention a year ago and advanced to the NCAA Championships for the second time in her career.
Freshman Hannah Screen has been impressive in her first collegiate season. The Berkhamsted, U.K., native has posted a 73.50 average and will join Harm as the only Cougars to compete in all three tournaments to date.
FIRST-ROUND PAIRINGS
For Sunday's play, the Cougars will compete in groups with student-athletes from Southern Miss and Mississippi State.
Harm begins the day off No. 11 with Rayner (first group off No. 12), Screen (second group off No. 12), Martinez (No. 13) and Pineda (No. 14) following.
