Houston Baseball will hold its annual Fan Appreciation Day & Alumni Game on Saturday, Feb. 10, at 12:30 p.m. ... Gates will open at 10:30 a.m. ... The event is free and open to the public ... For more information, click here ... 2018 season tickets are on sale ... Season tickets for 29 regular-season home games are available for $200 for the reserved chairback seating on the lower level of the concourse of the stadium ... For the fourth straight year, the additional "Reserved 2" seating option for the 2018 season is available as fans can purchase an assigned seat in sections 200, 201 and 202 for $150 ... General admission seating will run in sections 203-209 and are available for $100 for the entire season ... The Baseball Flex 20 Plan is also on sale ... The Flex 20 plan allows fans to experience games at Schroeder Park how they wish (1 per game or multiple per game). The new Flex 20 vouchers MUST be claimed prior to gameday and inventory to each game is subject to availability.

Against USF, the Cougars held the Bulls to just 40 points, the lowest Houston has held an opponent since limiting Rice to 36 points on Jan. 10, 1987 ... The win improves Houston to 10-0 inside H&PE Arena on the campus of Texas Southern ... Freshman Fabian White Jr. finished with 16 points and a game-high 11 rebounds to record his second career double-double ... Junior guard Corey Davis Jr. led all scorers with 17 points, his sixth straight game hitting double digits, while senior guard Rob Gray led all players with six assists, his sixth game this season with at least five assists, four of which have come in the last five games ... For their efforts, White was named to The American Weekly Rookie of the Week, while Davis was tabbed to The American Weekly Honor Rol ... As the former Hofheinz Pavilion is transformed into the $60-million Fertitta Center, the Cougars will play their 2017-18 home games inside Health & PE Arena on the campus of nearby Texas Southern University.

At SMU, Houston overcame an eight-point deficit to win 60-56 and complete the season sweep of the Mustangs, a first since 2010-11 ... The Cougars finished with a trio of players in double-figures including sophomore Jasmyne Harris, who paced the squad with 15 points, giving her 13 consecutive double-digit scoring games ... Sophomore Angela Harris finished the contest with 13 points, while junior Serithia Hawkins tallied her 16th career double-double with 12 points and a game-high 10 rebounds ... For her efforts, Hawkins was named to The American Weekly Honor Roll.
FOOTBALL

The Houston Football program added a fourth member of the 2016 ESPN 300 list to the #HTownTakeover on Thursday with the addition of defensive back Deontay Anderson, a transfer from Ole Miss ... Rated the No. 1 safety in the nation in 2016 by ESPN, Anderson is the fourth member from the 2016 ESPN 300 list to become a member of the Houston program, joining 2017 Outland Trophy winner Ed Oliver, his high school teammate and current Houston quarterback D'Eriq King, and defensive end Isaiah Chambers, who will be eligible this season after sitting out the 2017 season after transferring from TCU.

Houston Men's Golf fans are invited to attend the program's annual fundraiser at the Insperity Dave Williams Cougar Am, set for 1 p.m., Monday, Feb. 12, at Golf Club of Houston ... All proceeds benefit Project 17, the Houston Men's Golf booster club ... Individual and team spots are open, but interested fans are encouraged to make reservations ... Teams can purchase a foursome for $5,000, while individuals can play for $1,250 per person ... That provides participants with opportunities to play with a Champions Tour professional or former Houston Golf star and includes food, drinks and a tee gift ... The Houston Women's Golf annual fundraiser has been pushed back to Sunday, Feb. 11 ... Fans are invited to join the nationally ranked Houston Women's Golf team's annual fundraiser, slated to begin at 3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 14 ... The fun-filled event will be held at Topgolf Spring (560 Spring Park Center Blvd., Spring, TX 77373) ... All proceeds from the event benefit the Houston Women's Golf program ... Head Coach Gerrod Chadwell, Associate Head Coach Lucy Nunn and student-athletes will be on hand to participate with fans ... Tickets are available for $175 per person or $700 per foursome with snacks, dinner, drinks and a gift provided for each player ... Two-time LPGA Player of the Year Stacy Lewis Chadwell will be a special guest at the event ... Participants will also enjoy a silent auction with a variety of prizes. Fans can get their first look at the 2018 Houston Softball team when it hosts its annual Red-White Series across Feb. 2-3 at Cougar Softball Stadium ... The Cougars will split into two teams and play a best-of-three-game intrasquad series ... Game times are 5:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 2, and 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 3, with the if-necessary game to follow at noon ... Admission is free to the public ... Houston enters the 2018 campaign picked second in the American Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll ... The Cougars open their schedule at Texas A&M's Aggie Classic on Feb. 9.

Houston Swimming & Diving posted 14 podium finishes in a quadruple dual meet against LSU, Rice and Tulane.

Freshman Rebecca Cox won the 100 Butterfly in 55.42, while the Cougars posted 13 other podium finishes ... For full results, click here ... In the classroom, Houston Swimming & Diving earned its fifth consecutive CSCAA Scholar All-America team award after posting its highest fall term team GPA in program history at 3.47 ... Peyton Kondis, Cait Horner, Rebecca Brandt, Victoria Tillman, and Morgan Rosas each posted a 4.0 GPA last semester ... For Horner, it marked the third straight semester with a perfect 4.0 GPA, while Kondis recorded her second straight semester with a 4.0.
TENNIS

Houston Tennis improved to 4-0 on the season with wins 6-1 wins over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Sam Houston State and Incarnate Word.
