Houston Adds Clayton Tune to Class of 2018

HOUSTON â€" The Houston Football program added the 24th member to its 2018 signing class Wednesday with the addition quarterback Clayton Tune, an early enrollee from Hebron High School.

Tune, who was ranked the No. 19 quarterback in the nation by ESPN, closed out his high school career with 6,686 passing yards and 1,074 rushing yards with 66 passing touchdowns and 20 rushing touchdowns. He completed 181-of-270 passes for 2,416 yards and 23 touchdowns as a senior while rushing for 368 yards and nine scores after totaling 2,445 passing yards and 22 touchdowns with 512 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns as a junior.
Tune is the sixth member of the 2018 signing class to enroll in classes beginning with the 2018 spring semester, joining junior college transfers Bo Alexander and Gleson Spreewell, along with early high school enrollees Tahj Brown, Garrison Vaughn and Julon Williams.
