Houston Opens Conference Play on the Road

HOUSTON -- The Houston Soccer team will open its 2017 conference slate this weekend with matchups against Tulsa on Thursday, followed by a Sunday afternoon meeting with Memphis.
Cougar Bites
- Houston heads into American Athletic Conference action with a 4-3-1 overall record.
- The Cougars look to open conference play with a win for the first time since the 2010 season.
- Hannah Dauzat leads the Cougars in scoring with 11 points off of five goals and an assist.
- Madison Soileau is the assist leader for the Coogs with three this season.
- Rachel Estopare is the primary goalkeeper for Houston. Racking up 50 saves and two shutouts.

Houston will have a bye week next week, where they will spend Sept. 30 out in the Houston community helping those affected by Hurricane Harvey. The Cougars will return home on Oct. 5 and Oct. 8 for matchups with Central Florida and South Florida at the Carl Lewis Complex.
