Cougar Pride Renewal Deadline: June 30

HOUSTON – Cougar Pride, the fundraising arm of Houston Athletics, would like to remind all members looking to receive benefits for the upcoming 2017-18 year that the end of the Cougar Pride fiscal year and deadline to renew is Friday, June 30.
All Cougar Pride or “Unrestricted” donations support each of the 17 varsity sport programs through student-athlete scholarships and priority needs of the Athletic Department. Last year, thanks to the generosity of alumni, friends and fans, the Cougar Pride office raised a record breaking $6.4 million in support of Houston Student-Athletes and are on pace to break the record again this season. This year’s goal has been set for $7 million and 5,000 members.
Cougar Pride donations offer benefits at various giving levels such as parking for Football, Men’s basketball along with invitations to special events.
Individuals who donate 10 percent more than they did in the previous fiscal year will receive a 2x multiplier on their priority points, while those who donate up to the next giving level will receive a 4x multiplier. The Cougar Pride office has also introduced a way for current members to receive additional priority points through the Refer-A-Coog program. For every new Cougar Pride member a current member recruits, both members will receive five (5) priority points.
