Houston Adds Blake Young to 2017 Class

HOUSTON â€" The Houston Football program added defensive lineman Blake Young to its 2017 signing class Friday. The transfer from Cerritos College (Calif.) will have three years of eligibility remaining and is eligible to begin play for the Cougars this fall.

A Los Angeles native, Young had 23 tackles with 2.5 going for a loss including one sack in 10 games of action in 2016.
Standing at 6-2 and weighing 295 lbs., Young played high school football at Salesian High School in Los Angeles.
