HOUSTON â€" Houston Baseball returns home to Schroeder Park for four games this week, beginning with a midweek tilt vs. Rice at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday to begin the 2017 Silver Glove Series.

QUICK HITS ON HOUSTON
- Houston returns home for four games this week, owning a 20-7 overall record.
- The Cougars are 12-2 at home and are 6-1 in midweek games this season.
- Houston is led offensively by Jake Scheiner's .415 clip, 44 hits, 10 home runs and 33 RBI.
- Connor Wong follows Scheiner with a .328 average, 27 runs and 15 stolen bases, while Grayson Padgett owns a .327 average and is 6-for-6 on the base paths.
- Houston's pitching owns a 2.19 ERA with 216 strikeouts to just 60 walks in 238.0 innings.

- Aaron Fletcher picked up his sixth save on the year following 3.0 shutout innings in relief.
- Jake Scheiner belted his team-leading 10th home run of the year in the series.
- Seth Romero struck out a career-high 14 in Friday's 5-2 loss at UCF.

- Rice will meet Houston on Tuesday with a 9-21 overall record and a 4-11 mark away from home this season.
