SUNSET, S.C. â€" The University of Houston Women's Golf program closes out the 2016-17 regular season when it tees off Friday morning in the Clemson Invitational.
The three-day, 54-hole tournament begins at 7 a.m. (CDT) Friday with 18 holes each day through Sunday on the 6,253-yard, par-72 layout at The Reserve at Lake Keowee.

TEAM FIELD
The 17-team field features three top-10 teams and 11 top-50 squads from the latest Golfstat national rankings.
In addition to host and 42nd-ranked Clemson, the Cougars face No. 5 Florida, No 6 Florida State, No. 8 Furman, No. 18 Texas A&M, No. 21 Texas, No. 24 Oklahoma, No. 30 Ohio State, No. 32 Tennessee, No. 43 Louisville, Columbia, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Tulane, UNCW and Vanderbilt.
THE LINEUP
Ivon Reijers â€" 74.64 average and tied for fourth on team with three rounds of par or better… Tied for 12th at Clover Cup after firing back-to-back 71s in final two rounds (March 17-19)… Made her collegiate debut at season-opening Mason Rudolph Championships on Sept. 16-18… Opened and closed that tournament with even-par rounds of 72 and tied for 18th with score of 219… Native of Barcelona and product of Maristes and Redlands Community College.
Megan Thothong â€" Fourth on team with 74.67 average and three rounds of par or better… 2016 All-American Athletic Conference honoree… Tied for 26th at Clover Cup with score of 221 after shooting 69 in Second Round… Tied for 16th at Texas State Invitational with score of 228… Competed in U.S. Amateur Championship in August 2016 for the second straight season… Native of Dallas and product of Plano West Senior High School.
Allie Andersen â€" 74.86 scoring average and second on team with seven rounds of par or better… Posted a 69 in Second Round at Clover Cup… Fired three straight rounds of par or better to lead the Cougars and tie for 11th at the Jim West Challenge on Oct. 9-10 at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas… Joined Cougars in 2016-17 after competing for first two years at Colorado State… Native of The Woodlands, Texas, and product of The Woodlands High School.
Courtney Tibiletti â€"75.50 average with two rounds of par or better… Tied school record with 66, thanks to 10 birdies, in First Round at Clover Cup… Tied for 21st at that tournament with score of 220… Tied for 11th at the Bearkat Invitational (Oct. 3-4, 2016) with a score of 222… Native of Huntsville, Texas, and product of Huntsville High School.
Leonie Harm â€" Leads team with 72.67 scoring average and 10 rounds of par or better… Two-time American Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week (March 15, Feb. 22) in 2016-17… Tied her own school record with 66 in Second Round at Clover Cup and tied for team lead with score of 216 to finish 12th… Finished second at MountainView Collegiate with score of 9-under-207 on March 10-12… Opened that tournament with a school-record 66, bettering previous low round by two strokes… Tied for 10th at Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate at English Turn Golf & Country Club with score of 217 on Feb. 19-21… Captured first title of her career with a score of 218 at the Texas State Invitational on Feb. 13-14 at The Bandit Golf Club in New Braunfels, Texas… Was Houston's first NCAA Championships participant in school history after tying for seventh at the 2016 NCAA Baton Rouge Regional... Native of Gerlingen, Germany, and product of Privatgymnasium St. Leon Rot.
FIRST-ROUND PAIRINGS
Friday's First Round begins with a 7 a.m. (CDT) split-tee start off No 1. The Cougars will compete in groups with Clemson and Florida State.
Harm begins the day at 7 a.m. (CDT) with Andersen (7:09 a.m. CDT), Thothong (7:18 a.m. CDT), Tibiletti (7:27 a.m. CDT) and Reijers (7:36 a.m. CDT) following.
LAST TIME OUT
Junior Kelli Rollo tied for 16th with a score of 231 to lead four Cougars competing as individuals at HBU Husky Invitational at Riverbend Country Club in Sugar Land, Texas, on Tuesday.
In its last team competition, the Cougars finished fourth with a score of 868 at the Clover Cup, hosted by Notre Dame at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Ariz., on March 17-19.
Tibiletti opened that tournament with a school-record-tying 66, thanks to 10 birdies, while Harm tied that and her own school record with a 66 in the Second Round. Tibiletti finished in a tie for 21st at 220, while Harm tied with Reijers for team-high honors at 12th at even-par 216.
UP NEXT
Following the Clemson Invitational, the Cougars enter the postseason when they compete at the American Athletic Conference Championships on The Conservatory Course at Hammock Beach Golf & Spa Resort on April 16-18.
The Cougars look to defend their title from a year ago, the first in the program's young history.
