Cummings had a career-high four field goals in Houston's 33-23 win over then-No. 3 Oklahoma Saturday. Cummings' final field goal of the day, to close out the first half, equaled his jersey number as the senior hit a career-long 47-yard field goal in addition to kicks of 26, 33 and 35 yards. Cummings also had seven kickoffs for 457 yards with four touchbacks and was perfect on his three extra point attempts.
The Southlake, Texas, native has connected on all 12 of his career field goal attempts after taking over as Houston's starting kicker midway through the 2015 season.
Houston returns to action Saturday at 11 a.m. when it hosts Lamar in its 2016 home opener at TDECU Stadium.
