Houston Football wrapped up its 2016 Training Camp with its final scrimmage on Saturday.

7:30 am - 9:30 am - Practice #17
The Cougars continue to prep for its opener vs. Oklahoma on Sept. 3 and will face off one last time Saturday at TDECU Stadium in an intrasquad scrimmage.
The #HTownTakeover is a meritocracy and on Friday the Coogs earned a trip to Fogo de Chão (Houston) to cap off the end of two-a-days.

Houston Football held its second scrimmage of its fall training camp on Saturday and first practice inside TDECU Stadium.

Houston Football wrapped up practice #9 on Friday in preparation for its second scrimmage of the year set for Saturday.

Houston Football continued fall practice with number 8 and Thursday's focus was on the running backs and tight ends led by coaches Kenith Pope and Corby Meekins.
7:30 am - 9:30 am - Practice #7 Houston Football took the field in full pads on Wednesday for its first scrimmage of the fall. The defense came away with the win, but a competitive scrimmage took place.

#UHSocialShowcase was on the #HTownTakeover linebackers as the Cougars continued preparation for the 2016 season with its sixth practice of fall training camp Tuesday morning.


Houston Football announced its 2016 team captains on Monday. The Cougars will be led y senior tight end Tyler McCloskey, senior quarterback Greg Ward Jr., senior cornerback Brandon Wilson, senior defensive end Cameron Malveaux.

For the first time during Training Camp, Houston Football took the field in full pads. An aggressive practice featuring many tackle drills, the Cougars continued to stress tempo and build on the culture set a year ago by head coach Tom Herman and staff.

Houston Football continued fall camp on Sunday, Aug. 7 with its fourth practice and second straight in half pads.

Houston Football took to the field on Saturday for the third practice of Training Camp. The practice was highlighted by the circle drill, which the defense won - taking home the belt for the first time this fall.

Houston Football was up bright and early for its first practice of the 2016 Training Camp. Hear from head coach Tom Herman and senior linebacker Steven Taylor on Thursday's Training Camp opener.

The Cougars wrapped up its Report Day with a team meeting in preparation for Thursday's first practice of the fall.

4:30 pm
Houston Football was welcomed to campus on Wednesday evening by walking through its brand-new $1 million renovated locker room before kicking off the night with a dinner and team meeting.

2:30 pm
Houston Football welcomed local and regional media to campus on Wednesday afternoon for its 2016 Media Day. The Cougars were led at the podium by head coach Tom Herman, offensive coordinator Major Applewhite and defensive coordinator Todd Orlando.
Student-athletes Greg Ward Jr., Tyus Bowser, Cameron Malveaux, Tyler McCloskey, Brandon Wilson and Chance Allen also broke off into one-on-one interviews with the media.
