CLEARWATER, Fla. â€" Houston Baseball will open American Athletic Conference Championship play this Tuesday when it takes on (4) Cincinnati in Game 1 of the tournament. First pitch is slated for 2 p.m. CT on CBS Sports Network at Bright House Field in Clearwater, Fla.
The Cougars will enter the American Championship with an overall record of 33-22 and finished conference play as the No. 5 seed with an 11-12 mark. Cincinnati is 26-28-1 overall and will play as the No. 4 seed following a 13-10-1 American record.

The winner of the Houston-Cincinnati game will face the winner of (1) Tulane and (8) UCF at 2 p.m. CT on Thursday and the loser will play the loser of Tulane-UCF on Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. CT.

- Sophomore Corey Julks leads the offense with a .341 average and is riding a 19-game on base streak
- Freshman Joe Davis paces the offense in hits (75), doubles (17), home runs (11) and RBI (51)

- Davis broke the Houston all-time freshman home run record with his 11th on May 13 at Cincinnati

SERIES HISTORY vs. CINCINNATI
Houston and Cincinnati have met 41 previous times with the Cougars leading the all-time series, 33-8.
The all-time series between the two programs dates back to 1958. Houston won the 2016 regular-season series in Cincinnati this year, 2-1 and the only game the Cougars dropped was a 1-0 heartbreaker.
The Cougars and Bearcats met in the opening game of the 2015 American Championship with Houston earning an 8-4 win back on May 19, 2015 in Clearwater, Fla.

BUY SINGLE-GAME / GROUP TICKETS
Houston Baseball has three remaining home games at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park and fans can purchase season tickets for as low as $99 online by visiting UHCougars.com/tickets and following the appropriate links or by clicking here.
To purchase tickets in person, fans can visit the Athletics Ticket Stadium Office located on the northeast corner of TDECU Stadium, just outside of Gate 1 off Cullen Boulevard. Parking is available in the TDECU Stadium parking garage with the first 30 minutes free of charge. Regular business hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m., to 5:30 p.m.
Houston Baseball will offer variable pricing on its single-game tickets and group rates.

As noted in the table above, variable pricing occurs. For weekday (Tuesday/Wednesday) games, prices range from $5-$7 depending on the choice of seating.
Weekend ((Thursday) Friday-Sunday) online pricing will range from $6-$8 per game.
GROUP RATES
Group rates are also available (as noted in the table). Weekday (Tuesday/Wednesday) and Weekend ((Thursday) Friday-Sunday) pricing occurs. Groups of 10-24 are set at $4-$5 per person, while groups of 25+ are $3-$4 per person.
All UH main campus students are admitted FREE to regular-season baseball home games with a valid student ID.
