HOUSTON â€" Houston Softball travels to Lake Charles, La., Tuesday for a midweek match up against McNeese State. The game was rained out in March and rescheduled for Tuesday.
The game is set for a 6 p.m. start at Cowgirl Diamond. Live stats and a live stream will be available through mcneesesports.com.

• The Cougars defeated McNeese State at Cougar Softball Stadium earlier this season after rescheduling the game in Lake Charles, La.

• Houston Softball picked up a doubleheader sweep on Saturday after dropping game one at UConn this weekend. The Cougars fell 3-2 in a walk-off on Friday, but rebounded Saturday and snagged 5-1 and 7-4 victories on the Huskies senior day.
• Freshman Elise LeBeouf was named to the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll for her outstanding performance at the plate this weekend. The freshman lefty hit .545 against the UConn pitching staff with six base hits and drew two walks. Defensively, she threw a runner out at the plate during game two to save a run scored. LeBeouf also had an assist on a double play in game one on a fly ball before doubling out the runner on first.
• Freshman Presley Bell picked up her fifth win of the season to lead the Cougars to a 5-1 win over UConn. She allowed only one earned run and four hits in her sixth complete game of the season.
• Senior Katie St. Pierre recorded her 17th stolen base of the season and 62nd of her career to break the school record for career stolen bases. She passes All-American Jessica Valis (2006-09) who tallied 61 in her career.

• Senior Katie St. Pierre recorded her 17th stolen base of the season in game one against UConn to break the school record for most career stolen bases (62). She jumped All-American Jessica Valis (2006-09) who had 61 in her career.
• St. Pierre also ranks in the top five in school history for career walks (104), runs scored (159), hits (238) and hit by pitch (22).
• St. Pierre has focused on her on-base percentage this season. She has reached base in 47 of the 50 games this season and has a .471 OB% that ranks second in conference.

• A pitch has hit the Cougars 64 times this season. The 64 HBPs this season is ranks second in school history and is eight shy of tying the 2013 total (72) and the school record.
• Sophomore Kaylin Crumpton was pegged twice this weekend and leads the team with 22 followed by teammate Courtney Klingler who has been pegged 15 times.
• Crumpton also leads the league in hit by pitches this season and sits seventh nationally for most HBP per game (0.44). Klingler is second behind Crumpton in the conference with (0.33) and ranks 20th in the nation.
• With 42 career hit by pitches, Crumpton takes sole possession of second in school history and is 12th nationally on the Active Career Leaders list.
