HOUSTON â€" Houston Softball wraps up American Athletic Conference road play this weekend as the Cougars travel to Storrs, Conn., for a three game series at UConn.
The series opens on Friday with a 3 p.m. (CT) first pitch. Game two of the weekend is set for a 1 p.m. on Saturday while the series finale will be played on Sunday at 11 a.m.
All games will be streamed on UConnHuskies.com.

• Series: Houston leads, 6-0

• Last Meeting at Burrill Family Field: W, 8-4 - April 6, 2014
• Houston is undefeated against the UConn Huskies in its two series meetings as members of the American Athletic Conference.

• Houston Softball went 1-2 this weekend after cancelling a midweek game at Stephen F. Austin.
• Senior Courtney Klingler was named to the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll for her performance against the ECU pitching staff. She belted her second grand slam of the season in as many games to seal the 9-0 run-rule win over East Carolina during game one on Saturday. She knocked in eight runs over the weekend.
• Freshman Savannah Heebner pitched third collegiate complete game shutout in the Cougars 9-0 victory Saturday. The shutout was the second in her last two starts. In the 6.0 innings pitched, she allowed just four hits, two walks and struck out five.

• St. Pierre has 16 stolen base on the year. She stands tied with All-American Jessica Valis (2006-09) for the school record career stolen bases (61).
• St. Pierre also ranks in the top five in school history for career walks (103), runs scored (157), hits (235) and hit by pitch (22).
• St. Pierre has focused on her on-base percentage this season. She has reached base in 44 of the 47 games this season and has a .486 OB% that ranks second in conference and 103rd in the nation.

• A pitch has hit the Cougars 62 times this season. Last weekend, an ECU pitcher pelted a Cougar six times to exceed the 2015 total. The 62 HBPs this season is ranks third in school history and is just one shy of tying the 2014 season total (63).
• Sophomore Kaylin Crumpton leads the team with 20 followed by teammate Courtney Klingler who has been pegged 15 times.
• Crumpton leads the league in hit by pitches this season and sits seventh nationally for most HBP per game (0.43). Klingler is second behind Crumpton in the conference with (0.36) and ranks 15th in the nation.
• With 40 career hit by pitches, Crumpton takes sole possession of second in school history and is 13th nationally on the Active Career Leaders list.
