2016 Houston Football Camps Announced

HOUSTON - Aspiring champions will have the opportunity to learn from the best, and the state of Texas' 2015 New Year's 6 Bowl representative, as the Houston Football program is now accepting registrations for its 2016 Houston Football Camps. The program will offer campers the opportunity to receive instruction from the Houston coaching staff at seven camps throughout the summer, six in June and one in July.
The program will hold two mini camps (June 6 & June 17), one youth camp (June 7-9), two specialist academies (June 8 & July 15), one lineman camp (June 14) and one quarterback/wide receiver academy (June 16) on the Houston campus.
Online registration and release forms for all seven camps are available by visiting HoustonFootballCamps.com. Any walk-up campers must complete release forms found on HoustonFootballCamps.com prior to arriving at camp.

Both mini camps (Monday, June 6, and Friday, June 17) will be held on the University of Houston campus and cost just $30 for pre-registration and $40 for walk-up registration for campers entering ninth through 12th grade and any junior college students in 2016. On-site registration will open at 5 p.m. with each camp running from 6 to 9 p.m. Campers at the mini camps will receive a camp t-shirt.
UH will welcome its youngest campers to the Athletics/Alumni Center (3204 Cullen Blvd., Houston, TX 77204) June 7-9 as it hosts its youth camp for campers entering second through eighth grade in 2016. The three-day camp kicks off each morning at 9 a.m. and continues to 4:30 p.m. with a cost of $225 for pre-registration and $250 for walk-up registration that includes lunch each day and a camp t-shirt. On-site registration begins at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7.
A lineman camp for offensive and defensive linemen entering ninth through 12th grade and junior college students in 2016 will be held on the UH campus on Tuesday, June 14. Registration for the camp starts at 8 a.m. with the camp running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pre-registration is $50 with walk-up registration set at $60 which includes lunch and a camp t-shirt.
Two specialists camp for kickers, punters and deep snappers for those entering ninth through 12 grade and junior college students in 2016 will be held on campus Wednesday, June 8, and Friday, July 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Held at the Athletics/Alumni Center, the one-day event costs $150 and includes lunch with a camp t-shirt with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The Houston quarterback/wide receiver academy will be held on the Houston campus on Thursday, June 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for campers entering ninth through 12th grade and junior college students in 2016. Pre-registration is $50 with walk-up registration priced at $60, which includes lunch, and a camp t-shirt with on-site registration starting at 8 a.m.
All online registrations for camps will also have a $5 processing fee.

2015 Houston Season Ticket Members can renew their season tickets now by visiting UHCougars.com/renew or by following the instructions in an email to each account holder. Season ticket members may renew in full or through an interest free payment plan with the final renewal deadline set for April 29.
