HOUSTON â€" No. 25 Houston Baseball will ride the momentum of its series win over UCF into Tuesday's matchup with the University of Texas at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, Texas. First pitch is slated for 6:30 p.m.

Houston is 19-12 on the year and 3-3 in American Athletic Conference play heading into the week, which features Texas on Tuesday and a trip to UConn over the weekend.
Note: Texas will serve as the home team vs. Houston.

ON DECK
Houston will return to American Athletic Conference play this weekend when it travels to take on UConn in a three-game series in Storrs, Conn. First pitch Friday is slated for 2 p.m. CT, Saturday at 12 p.m. CT and Sunday at 11 a.m. CT.
HITS ON HOUSTON
Houston is coming off a 2-2 week, which was highlighted by a series win over American Athletic Conference foe, UCF, at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park. The Cougars enter Tuesday's matchup with UT with a 19-12 overall record and a 0-3 mark at neutral site locations.
Houston is riding the arms of its pitching staff, which continues to rank among the nation's best in several categories. The Cougars own a 2.21 team ERA and have fanned 266 in 273.0 inning, while only walking 55. Opponents are hitting .212 against the Cougar pitchers.
Sophomore Seth Romero leads the charge on the mound with a 1.65 ERA in seven appearances and six starts. He has fanned 54 in 43.2 innings and is 4-1 on the year.
Freshman Mitch Ullom leads the team in wins with five, holding a 5-1 record in seven appearances and six starts. He is coming off his first career complete game shutout over UCF and is now 2-0 in conference play as the Cougars' Sunday starter.
Junior Andrew Lantrip is 4-4 with a 1.82 ERA in eight starts. He has two complete games to his name and has only walked three hitters in 59.1 innings with 56 strikeouts to lead the nation in strikeout-to-walk ratio.
Out of the bullpen, the Cougars rely on junior Nick Hernandez's arm, who is 1-0 with a 1.52 ERA and has a team-high five saves in 14 appearances. Freshman Trey Cumbie (0-1, 1.06) and junior Bubba Maxwell (0-0, 2.16) are next with eight appearances apiece.
Offensively, Houston is hitting .264 as a team, while slugging .379 with 40 doubles, eight triples and 21 home runs. The Cougars are 41-of-49 on the base paths, led by Zac Taylor's 14 stolen bases.
Freshman Joe Davis, this week's American Player of the Week, continues to lead Houston with a .371 average, 46 hits and 32 RBI, while belting seven home runs. Senior Michael Pyeatt follows with a .330 clip and sophomore Connor Wong leads the team with 26 runs scored to accompany his .306 average.
ABOUT TEXAS
Texas will enter Tuesday's matchup with a 14-18 overall record and is coming off a Big 12 series win over Kansas State this past weekend.
The Longhorns are hitting .262 as a team and slugging .379, highlighted by 56 doubles, six triples and 19 home runs. Texas is 21-of-31 on the base paths and are fielding .966 with 44 errors in 32 games.
Leading the way offensively for Texas is Patrick Mathis with a .302 average, while Tres Barrera is hitting .297 with a team-leading 20 RBI.
The Texas pitching staff owns a 3.45 ERA with seven saves and three shutouts. The Longhorns have fanned 248 hitters, while walking 117 in 292.1 innings. Opponents are hitting .247 against the staff this season.
Ty Culbreth is 6-2 with a 2.68 ERA in nine appearances and eight starts to pace the Texas staff. He has fanned 50 in 53.2 innings, while walking just eight. Kyle Johnston is 1-1 with a 2.85 ERA in nine starts and Connor Mayes is 0-4 with a 3.38 ERA in 13 appearances and four starts.
Texas has relied heavily on the arms of Travis Duke (2-1, 3.60) with a team-high 21 appearances and Chase Shugart (1-1, 3.86) with two saves in 19 appearances.
SERIES HISTORY
Houston and Texas will meet for the 128th time in program history, which dates back to 1958. The Longhorns own the all-time series, 94-31-2 and have won the last four meetings between the two programs.
Houston is 2-8 in neutral site locations vs. Texas all-time and the last meeting between the two dates back to June 6-7, 2014 in Austin, Texas during the NCAA Super Regional where the Longhorns won 4-2 and 4-0 to advance to the College World Series.

To purchase tickets in person, fans can visit the Athletics Ticket Stadium Office located on the northeast corner of TDECU Stadium, just outside of Gate 1 off Cullen Boulevard. Parking is available in the TDECU Stadium parking garage with the first 30 minutes free of charge. Regular business hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m., to 5:30 p.m.
Houston Baseball will offer variable pricing on its single-game tickets and group rates.

As noted in the table above, variable pricing occurs. For weekday (Tuesday/Wednesday) games, prices range from $5-$7 depending on the choice of seating.
Weekend ((Thursday) Friday-Sunday) online pricing will range from $6-$8 per game.
GROUP RATES
Group rates are also available (as noted in the table). Weekday (Tuesday/Wednesday) and Weekend ((Thursday) Friday-Sunday) pricing occurs. Groups of 10-24 are set at $4-$5 per person, while groups of 25+ are $3-$4 per person.
All UH main campus students are admitted FREE to regular-season baseball home games with a valid student ID.
