Freshman Breelyn Thames belted her first collegiate home run on a solo shot to centerfield during the bottom of the fourth.
After Tulsa took a 2-0 lead in the top of the second, the Cougars responded quickly with two runs of their own.

St. Pierre followed with an RBI base hit to add another run for the Cougars.
Tulsa added three more runs the following inning off a three-run home run by left fielder Maddie Withee.
