HOUSTON â€" Houston Softball continues preparations on the field as the 2016 season gets into full swing in just one week. Houston Athletics' Fan Experience announces the promotions and giveaway schedule for the season.

When the Cougar Softball team plays on Wednesdays, fans can enjoy $2 hot dogs and $3 burgers.
Every Friday is Softball Bingo night. Be sure to stop by the fan experience table to grab a bingo card. Mark off five in a row and win a prize from Houston Softball.
On Sundays, kids can stick around after the game to run the bases during Sasha's Base Race and an autograph session with the Cougars.
Houston Softball is all about family and tradition. The Cougars celebrate the 16th season of the program as they welcome former players back to Cougar Softball Stadium for Softball Alumni Day on Saturday, March 5 during the Hilton Houston Plaza Classic.
Come out to Cougar Softball Stadium on Saturday, March 12 dressed as your favorite Superhero as the Cougars host Lipscomb on Superhero Day. Be one of the first 200 fans through the gates and receive a red UH Cape.
Let's party like it's the 1980s on Saturday, March 19 for 80's Day when the Cougars host Oklahoma State. The first 200 fans into the stadium will receive UH Shutter Shades.
It's 90's Day at Cougar Softball Stadium on Friday, March 25 when the Cougars host Tulsa during the first American Athletic Conference series of the 2016 season. The first 200 fans through the gates will receive a UH Fanny Pack.
Following the final game of the series vs. Tulsa on March 26, the Cougars will host an Easter Egg Hunt on the field and a postgame autograph session.
The 10th Annual Striking Out Breast Cancer game is slated for Tuesday, April 12 as the Cougars host Baylor for a midweek doubleheader. The first 1,500 fans will receive a pink t-shirt and Houston Softball will hold a silent auction outside the stadium. Proceeds will go to the Houston Susan G. Komen.
This season, Houston Softball will celebrate it's four seniors on separate days. Split over the last two home conference series, senior Megan Noel starts it off on Friday, April 15 when Houston hosts UCF. The following day, is Julana Shrum's senior day as well as 2000's day. The first 200 fans to the game on April 16 will receive a UH trucker hat.
During the Memphis series, Houston Softball will celebrate seniors Courtney Klingler (May 6) and Katie St. Pierre (May 7).
