"First, I want to apologize to all the Cougars out there who saw a lack of effort out there in the third quarter. What we are used to is not what you are accustomed to looking at, I can promise you that it will never happen again."
On Kierra Graves and her performance tonight
"Kierra (Graves) always plays well. We just have to get others on the floor that are running with her. She's always in attack mode. She gave up a few defensive assignments but also came up with good steals. She's one that we're going to continue to develop and push her to be the best that she can be. She has a chance to really do something special."
On Cenecia Newman's performance as a freshman
"I've learned not to put freshman out in situations their not comfortable in and to always protect them. She was one that we've been building up her confidence in practice. And we wanted to have the opportunity to showcase her at some point and I was happy that she came out and responded. She works hard in practice every day. She pushes herself and does all the things necessary to be successful."
On the upcoming TV broadcasted Temple game
"The TV time is great. The last time we played on TV was against UConn. We had a great response from everybody who watched it. The Temple game here started a little slow but came back and only ended up losing by four or six. It came down to the fourth quarter. We're going to take a game up there that is excited to play. If we can escape the snow that's expected in Temple."
