Houston Fan Appreciation Day Set for August 23

HOUSTON - Houston Fan Appreciation Day has been set for Sunday, Aug. 23, from 12-3 p.m. at TDECU Stadium. The event will feature a Legends Plaza dedication and unveiling of a statue honoring College Football Hall of Famer Bill Yeoman, a season ticket pick up party, a rookie orientation for new season ticket members, photos with spirit groups and the Heisman trophy and the ever-popular autograph session with members of the Houston Football, Soccer and Volleyball programs.
Houston fans will need to secure free print-at-home tickets to the event at UHCougars.com/fanday. In an effort to simplify the process for season ticket members, members can log into their account to print Fan Appreciation Day tickets while non-season ticket members will need to build their UH Athletics account.

The day will kick off at 12 p.m. with the unveiling of a statue to honor legendary Houston Football coach and College Football Hall of Famer Bill Yeoman as a part of the Legends Plaza dedication ceremony outside of Gate 1 on the northeast side of TDECU Stadium.
Also kicking off at 12 p.m. will be the season ticket member pick up party inside the TDECU Stadium Club lobby where season ticket members can pick up their season tickets and parking passes, if applicable. An important note for those season ticket members who are unable to attend Fan Appreciation Day: 2015 season tickets and parking passes will be shipped out the following day (Monday, Aug. 24), to arrive in plenty of time for Houston's home opener on Saturday, Sept. 5.
Autographs with members of the Houston Football, Soccer and Volleyball programs will take place from 1-2 p.m. inside the TDECU Stadium Club.
The season ticket member rookie orientation party will take place from 2:30-2:50 p.m. inside the TDECU Stadium club lobby where new season ticket members will learn gameday traditions from the Spirit of Houston to properly root on the Cougars beginning Saturday, Sept. 5.
The Houston Fan Experience Headquarters will be open throughout the event on the northeast corner of TDECU Stadium, adjacent to Gate 1, for fans looking to purchase season tickets for as low as $99 or single-game tickets starting at $20.
