Brookah Palmer Selected to Play in All-Star Game

HOUSTON â€" Incoming freshman Brookah Palmer represented the District 5A-6A North Texas team at the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-Star Volleyball Game Thursday night.
Palmer helped her team to a 3-1 win over the blue team (25-18, 27-25, 20-25, 25-23).
"It is such a great honor being selected for the All Star team," Palmer said. "There are so many talented players in the state of Texas and to be considered one of top is a great feeling."
TGCA selects players based on their performances during the high school season. They are then placed on two separate teams (North and South Texas) to face the best of the best in Texas Volleyball.
The 6-2 freshman from Carrollton, Texas, was named to the 2014 TGCA 6A All-State Team after receiving the District Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-District in back-to-back seasons. She helped Hebron High School to the Area championships in 2013 and the regional semi-finals last season. During her junior season, Palmer was named a 2013-14 Prep Volleyball All-American (Special Mention).
