Herman Pledges to Match up to $25K in 46ers Donations

HOUSTON - Houston Football head coach Tom Herman announced Wednesday he will match up to $25,000 in donations to the 46ers from new members beginning June 3. The 46ers is Houston Football's sport-specific giving club whose mission is to help fund the priority needs of the Houston Football Program and take it to the next level.

"The 46ers play a vital part in the sustained success and growth of our program," said Herman. "To compete at the highest level, a football program requires financial support beyond the annual budget, and we plan on competing with programs which, at this time, may have larger budgets than our current budget. With your assistance, we will even the playing ground."
Membership for the 2015 Houston Football season starts at just $500 and may be paid in full or on a monthly basis via Houston46ers.com. As new supporters join the group, their donation will be matched by Herman, up to $25,000. Fans can track the progress of Herman's donation at UHCougars.com/46ers.
Contributions have a direct impact on the Houston Football program and give coaches the financial competitive advantage they need for recruiting and operating an FBS program at the highest level. Every dollar goes directly to the UH football program.
