Softball High School Camp Moved to June 16-17

HOUSTON - The University of Houston Softball coaching staff has moved the High School Camp to Tuesday and Wednesday, June 16-17 at Baseball USA due to the potential for inclement weather headed toward the Houston area.
The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with registration starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday. Baseball USA is located at 2626 W. Sam Houston Pkwy North.
The High School Summer Camp will cover the advanced skills of offense and defense, paying attention to the details, because the little things make a difference at the collegiate level. Campers will get a chance to experience the drills a Division I college softball player practices daily. campers will be set up for high intensity drills and have the opportunity to implement the skills learned into live play during scrimmages. The camp will be a two-day camp in which other Division I college coaches will be assisting with drills and observing during the scrimmages.
Camp staff includes Nicholls State Head Coach Angel Santiago, Penn State Assistant Coach Megan Gibson, Stephen F. Austin Assistant Coach Alex Meng, and Incarnate Word Head Coach Amanda Gamboa.
