HOUSTON - The University of Houston Softball team continues its road trip as the Cougars travel to No. 9 Louisiana-Lafayette for a midweek game on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The Ragin' Cajuns become the ninth Top-25 team Houston has faced this season and the second Top-10 ranked opponent of the year.

HITS ON HOUSTON |
• Houston enters on a four game losing streak after the Cougars dropped a single game to Sam Houston State and three last weekend at No. 17 UCF.
• Senior Sydney Gerbracht blasted a two-run triple against the left center wall, scoring the Cougars only two runs of the weekend. The hit was Gerbracht's second triple of the season.
• Senior SS Selena Hernandez is the toughest student-athlete to strikeout in the conference and now ranks second in the nation. On Defense, Hernandez has been a part of 15 of Houston's 25 double plays turned this season. She also leads the conference with the most assists (133), fourth best for a single season in school history, followed by teammate Shelby Miller (79).
• Freshman LF Kaylin Crumpton leads the conference for the most hit-by-pitches this season (17). She is ranked fifth in the nation for most HBP per game (0.46). Teammate Courtney Klingler has been plunked 11 times this season, second in the conference and 49th in the nation.
• In the 42 games played so far this season, Houston has already turned 25 double plays - just three shy of tying the school record. The Cougars lead the conference with most DP turned this season and ranks second in the nation for most DP turned per game (0.62).

Houston returns home for the final American Athletic Conference series in Cougar Softball Stadium when the Cougars host UConn for a three-game series Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19. Between games on Friday, Houston Softball will honor its eight seniors for Senior Day at the field. Saturday's game is tabbed the March of Dimes game and Little League Day.

To purchase tickets in person, fans can visit the Athletics Ticket Office located on the northeast corner of TDECU Stadium, just outside of Gate 1 off Cullen Boulevard. Parking is available in the TDECU Stadium parking garage with the first 30 minutes free of charge. Regular business hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
All UH main campus students are admitted FREE to regular-season softball home games with a valid student ID.

Fans can purchase general admission single-game tickets beginning as low as $5 for youth and $8 for adults through UHCougars.com or by contacting the Houston Athletics Ticket Office at 713-GO-COOGS (462-6647).
While single-game tickets are available, fans are encouraged to save and purchase 2015 season tickets. General admission season tickets are just $75 for 28 home games ($2.68 per ticket).
