SKILLMAN, N.J. - The University of Houston tennis team improved 17 spots to No. 39 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association national rankings, it was announced today.
Houston (6-4) was rewarded after four straight wins over nationally-ranked opponents and two victories last week. Patrick Sullivan's team downed Missouri, 4-2, on Feb. 20 and followed that with a 4-2 triumph over No. 48 Utah on Feb. 22.
