Cougar Caravan Set for Feb. 23 Austin Stop

HOUSTON - The Houston Cougar Caravan will paint Austin red on Monday, Feb. 23, for an event featuring new Houston head coach Tom Herman.
Houston alums and fans from the Austin area are invited out to Doc's Motorworks, located at 1123 S. Congress Ave., to hear from and meet Herman, Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Mack Rhoades and other University officials at the event.

Tickets for the event, scheduled from 5:30-7 p.m., are just $5 and can be purchased at houstonalumni.com/cougarcaravan. Admission includes appetizers, meet-and-greet with Herman, Rhoades and additional University officials, Q&A session with Herman, drink specials and photo opportunities with the 2015 Armed Forces Bowl Trophy and the Heisman Trophy.
The Cougar Caravan is the first of two Houston events for the Central Texas region as the No. 3 ranked Houston Baseball team travels to San Marcos, Texas, to face Texas State at 6 p.m., Feb. 24.
