Taylor helped lead a defense that held an SEC team to the conference's first shutout loss by a non-conference opponent since Sept. 5, 2004, when Kentucky lost to Louisville, 28-0.
Taylor was part of a Houston defense that held the Commodores to just 44 passing yards, the first time in over five years Houston has held an opponent to less than 100 yards passing, and 185 total yards, the first time in eight years Houston has held an opponent under 200 yards of total offense.
Taylor and Houston take on Cincinnati this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at TDECU Stadium in the 70th Homecoming game presented by TDECU. The game will air on ESPN2 and KPRC 950 AM with the radio pregame show kicking off at 1 p.m.
