HOUSTON -- After an exciting five-set win over Tulane Wednesday, Houston Volleyball is headed to Greenville, N.C. for a match against East Carolina (8-7, 1-3) Sunday at noon.
The second place Cougars (14-3, 4-1 American) enter the matchup on a three-game win streak after an epic five-set win over Tulane on Wednesday.

QUICK HITS ON HOUSTON
« Houston Volleyball enters Sunday after a five-set win over Tulane Wednesday.
« Senior libero Olivia O'Dell had a record-setting performance as she tallied 47 digs, the most in school history.
« O'Dell now has 396 total digs, a new season best with 15 games left in the season.
« Houston opened the 2015 season 10-2 heading into conference play. This is the best start since the 1989 season when the program opened 12-2 leading into the Southwest Conference season.
« Houston is 13-3 after 16 matches for the first time since the 1994 season. The 1994 team went on the win the Southwest Conference regular season, the SWC tournament and advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight.
« O'Dell was named to the conference weekly honor roll for her fifth league award of the season. She tallied 37 digs against USF, the fifth most in school history.
EAST CAROLINA PIRATES
East Carolina enters the match up on a two-game losing streak last weekend. The Pirates were swept by SMU and dropped in five at Tulsa. The Pirates picked up their only conference win at Memphis with a 3-1 win during the opening weekend of conference play.

Houston returns home Oct. 16-18 as the Cougars host Memphis on Friday at 7 p.m. and Cincinnati on Sunday at 1 p.m.
