Houston Softball at Tulsa to Air on ESPNU

HOUSTON - Houston Softball's April 25 game at Tulsa will be televised nationally on ESPNU, the American Athletic Conference announced Tuesday afternoon. Game 1 of the doubleheader will begin at 1 p.m. CT.
This is the first televised game on an ESPN network for Houston Softball since the 2013 NCAA Austin Regional in which all three games were broadcasted on ESPN3.
The game marks the first televised regular-season conference game since Houston faced Marshall in 2013 on Fox Sports.
Houston leads the all-time series against its former C-USA rival, 14-13. Tulsa won the regular season and the C-USA conference tournament titles in 2014 before making the move into the American Athletic Conference for its first season of conference play.
The last time the two teams faced each other was during the 2014 NCAA Waco Regional. The Cougars dropped a 2-1 walk-off decision to No. 18 Tulsa. The two faced each other again in an elimination game during the regional tournament. The Hurricane went on to defeat Houston, 10-6, and play in the regional championship game against Baylor.

Houston opens its 2015 season on the road Feb. 5-8 at the Sand Dollar Classic in Gulf Shores, Ala. The Cougars begin tournament play facing Florida International on Feb. 5 at 6 p.m. Houston Softball returns to Cougar Softball Stadium for its home opener as the Cougars host the Houston Hilton Plaza Invitational Feb. 13-15.

Season Ticket Members will receive one ticket for each regular season home date. The tickets are a Flex Option and are good for any regular season home game and can be used as one for each game or multiple tickets to fewer games.
To purchase tickets in person, fans can visit the Athletics Ticket Office located on the northeast corner of TDECU Stadium, just outside of Gate 1 off Cullen Boulevard. Parking is available in the TDECU Stadium parking garage with the first 30 minutes free of charge. Regular business hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
All UH main campus students are admitted FREE to regular-season softball home games with a valid student ID.
SINGLE-GAME TICKETS ON SALE NOW
Fans can purchase general admission single-game tickets beginning as low as $5 for youth and $8 for adults through UHCougars.com or by contacting the Houston Athletics Ticket Office at 713-GO-COOGS (462-6647).
While single-game tickets are available, fans are encouraged to save and purchase 2015 season tickets. General admission season tickets are just $75 for 28 home games ($2.68 per ticket).
