Houston Softball to Host Alumni Game Jan. 30

HOUSTON - Catch a sneak peek at the 2015 Houston Softball team as the Cougars host the Alumni Game on Friday, Jan. 30 at 6 p.m.
The Cougars welcome all former players, families and fans to come out for a fun night of softball. The "H" Association will host a private tailgate for Houston Softball alumni and their families.

Houston returns 10 players for the 2015 season while welcoming 11 newcomers. The Cougars are coming off another 30-win season and the fourth consecutive NCAA postseason appearance.
The 2015 slate opens at the Sand Dollar Classic in Gulf Shores, Ala., but Houston Softball returns for two home tournaments at Cougar Softball Stadium.
The Cougars host DePaul, SFA, McNeese State, UMass and Northern Iowa for the Houston Hilton Plaza Invitational Feb. 13-15, a three day round robin tournament. The following weekend, Houston hosts the Houston Hilton Plaza Classic (Feb. 20-22) featuring New Mexico, Illinois and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
Following the first two home tournaments of the season, the Cougars host two Women's College World Series participants including semi-finalist Oregon (Feb. 16) and Texas (April 1).
Although this is the Cougars second year in the American Athletic Conference, Houston will face several new opponents as the conference welcomes East Carolina and Tulsa. The Cougars will host three conference series at home for a doubleheader on Fridays and a single game on Saturdays.

Fans can purchase season tickets online by visiting UHCougars.com/SBtickets and following the appropriate links or by clicking here.
To purchase tickets in person, fans can visit the Athletics Ticket Office located on the northeast corner of TDECU Stadium, just outside of Gate 1 off Cullen Boulevard. Parking is available in the TDECU Stadium parking garage with the first 30 minutes free of charge. Regular business hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
All UH main campus students are admitted FREE to regular-season softball home games with a valid student ID.
SINGLE-GAME TICKETS ON SALE NOW
Fans can purchase general admission single-game tickets beginning as low as $5 for youth and $8 for adults through UHCougars.com or by contacting the Houston Athletics Ticket Office at 713-GO-COOGS (462-6647).
While single-game tickets are available, fans are encouraged to save and purchase 2015 season tickets. General admission season tickets are just $75 for 28 home games ($2.68 per ticket).
