Kullerkann Named to The American Honor Roll

HOUSTON - Senior hitter Kadi Kullerkann has been named to the first American Athletic Conference volleyball weekly honor roll for the 2014 season.
Kullerkann had an outstanding weekend during the inaugural Houston Cougar Classic. She picked up 20+ kills in two of the three matches played including 23 kills in a three-set win against Lamar. Kullerkann also helped her team to a five-set win over Wake Forest Saturday evening while recording a career record of 24 kills.
Overall, Kullerkann averaged 5.42 kills per set and starts off the season with a .406 hitting percentage.
Earlier this season, Kullerkann was named to the All-American Athletic Conference Preseason Team for her performance last season.
UP NEXT
Houston Volleyball travels to Lake Charles, La., for the first road tournament of the season hosted by McNeese State. The Cougars will face UT Arlington Friday at 12:15 p.m. followed by a match against Jackson State at 4:45 p.m. Houston takes on host team McNeese State on Saturday at 1:15 p.m. to wrap up the tournament.
