HOUSTON - University of Houston Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Mack Rhoades announced Wednesday a restructure of the Houston Athletics External Operations. Jeramiah Dickey, who is entering his fifth year with UH, has been promoted to senior associate athletics director for external operations and will oversee the external arm of Houston Athletics.
Dickey's oversight includes Cougar Pride, the fundraising arm of Houston Athletics, Ticket Sales, Strategic Marking and Communications, Graphic Design, Video Operations and Houston Athletics' relationship with IMG, the multimedia rights partner for UH Athletics.
"With the restructure of our external department, our team will work much more closely and cohesively with individual pod systems encompassing each department set up for each of our sports," said Dickey. "We will be strategic in every external decision that is made with a goal of increasing revenue that will ultimately affect our student-athlete experience in a positive fashion, both by providing larger budgets for our sport programs and boosting attendance in the stands while our student-athletes achieve their highest aspirations."
In addition to Dickey's promotion, David Bassity, who is entering his third year with UH has been promoted to associate athletics director for strategic marketing and communications. Bassity will oversee the Strategic Marketing and Communications, Graphic Design and Video departments.

An El Paso native, Hulse earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Houston in 2012 and his master's degree in 2014.
Recently joining the Houston Athletics Strategic Marketing staff as assistant director, Kayla Bosco comes to Houston after one year as a marketing assistant at the University of Memphis and three years in the Kansas State Athletics Department. In the communications department, Allison McClain has been promoted to Associate Director of Communications and will serve as a secondary contact with the Houston Football program in addition to serving as the contact for UH Baseball.
