Track & Field to Attend Aggie Invitational

HOUSTON - The University of Houston Track and Field teams head to College Station for the last time this season to compete in the Texas A&M Aggie Invitational Friday and Saturday.
The No. 23 Cougar men will face top-ranked teams in host team No. 4 Texas A&M, No. 12 Arizona State, No. 13 University of Texas-El Paso and No. 24 Baylor. Stacked competition on the women's side includes No. 3 Texas A&M, No. 9 LSU, No. 10 UCLA, No. 21 Baylor, No. 22 Arizona State.
The two-day meet will begin Friday afternoon with the men's heptathlon and women's pentathlon followed by the distance medley relay and the 5,000-meter run. Day two begins with the men's heptathlon final three events. The running events start at 12:30 p.m. followed by the Field events at 1 p.m.
