Opening Statement
"What can you say? Temple came out and punched us in the mouth, and we didn't respond."
On where the team's confidence is at right now
"It's pretty low right now. We've given up some big leads in the first half. Last two games, we were able to come back. It was going to catch up to us eventually, and it looked like tonight it did. I would say the confidence is pretty low right now."
On the struggles shooting tonight
"We go to South Florida and we make our free throws, but we forgot how to rebound. Then, we go to Central Florida, and we remember how to rebound, but forgot how to make our free throws. For every hole we plug another one opens up right now. That's just kind of what happens when a team struggles. When your confidence isn't there, and you're looking for that one moment for it to go wrong you forget to just keep playing."
On the play of sophomore forward Tyler Gilbert
"Tyler did well for the minutes she was in. She kind of broke down a little bit defensively, but she posted up strong, she went to the basket, and got some rebounds. That's really all we're asking from her."
On what the focus is for their upcoming game against Cincinnati
"You focus on trying to win the next one. The whole focus is trying to win the next game. We dropped this one. You can't get it back. You have to look for the next one, and try to clean up some of the stuff that we didn't do right. We didn't execute well against the zone. We settled for some shots. When we don't make one or two outside shots to get them out of their zone, most teams are going to sit back and play the zone most of the game."
