Houston Volleyball Inks Brookah Palmer

HOUSTON - University of Houston Volleyball Head Coach Kaddie Platt announced the signing of Brookah Palmer to the class of 2015 Wednesday afternoon.
"Brookah will be an immediate impact six-rotation player for us. She has a tremendous work ethic, is a great teammate and is well trained fundamentally," Platt said. "Her desire to be great is contagious and will continue to grow our gym culture. We are so excited about her future here at the University of Houston."
Palmer is a 6-foot-2 outside hitter from Carrollton, Texas. During her junior season, she was named the District 5-5A Hitter of the Year and was awarded the Academic All-District. Palmer was also selected to the 5A Texas Coaches All-State Honorable Mention team and the Texas Sports Writers All-State Team and was named a 2013-14 Prep Volleyball All-American (Special Mention).
The four-year letterwinner helped the Hebron Hawks to the playoffs each year including to Area Championships (2011, 2012) and a regional semi-finalists in 2013. This year, Palmer and her teammates have made it back to the regional semi-finals.
