Cougars in the NFL: Week 8

HOUSTON - Houston Football is coming off a bye week and will resume play this Saturday at USF, but in the meantime, Cougars in the NFL continued their season during Week 8 of play.
WR Donnie Avery (KC) did not play in the Chiefs' Week 8 win over the St. Louis Rams. The Chiefs are scheduled to host the Ney York Jets in Week 9.

RB Jackie Battle (TEN) played but did not record any stats in the Titans' loss to the Texans in Week 8. Battle and the Titans are scheduled for a bye week for Week 9.

LS Thomas Gafford (KC) played did not record any stats in the Chiefs' Week 8 home victory over the St. Louis Rams. Gafford and the Chiefs are scheduled for a Week 9 home game against the New York Jets.

CB D.J. Hayden (OAK) remains on the Raiders' Physically Unable to Perform list. After an away loss to the Cleveland Browns, the Raiders will visit the Seattle Seahawks in Week 9. The Raiders remain the only team in the league without a win.

TE Fendi Onobun (JAX) remains on the Reserve/Injured list for the Jacksonville Jaguars. After losing at home to the Miami Dolphins in Week 8, the Jaguars will visit the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9.
